My professional career

I started my professional career in 1998. Until then I had dedicated my efforts to study the psychology career in Valencia and practice what I was learning, as a volunteer in two NGOs (Asprodes y Nypacold) who gave me the opportunity to try if I was worth this and to which I will always be grateful. Since then, My mission has always been the same: train me to live up to my consultants.

During all this time I completed my post -grade training (stinging 3 Master's degrees and a doctorate) what, as an additional prize, He offered me the opportunity to discover my vocation to teach and investigate, being an associated professor at the University of Murcia from 2014 And collaborating professor from other universities such as, CEU, Unit, IT SAW, CUSE, BIND, U.e o ice.

None of this would have served me if I had not had the best teachers: My patients, who during all this time taught me to be better psychotherapist and more complete as a person.

When I founded ECOS clinic in 2003, He tried to create a personal and authentic space in which to be able to express himself without feeling labeling or court. These were times when going to the psychologist was synonymous with mental problems ... we fought a lot to overcome prejudices and here we are now.

For almost 15 years I combined my personal project with a more social project, working as director and therapist in a center for people with addictions (NYPACOLD), I am currently president of this NGO.

Throughout the years I have participated in the formation of many psychologists in a practical way and thus, Starting from a purely behavioral orientation in my beginnings, I enriched my therapeutic skills with influences from compassion -focused therapy (CFT), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) o Emotions -centered therapy (TFE), Without ever losing sight of humanism that inspired great teachers like Carl Rogers.
